TREND: SAY HELLO TO COMFORT! THE SLIP ON SNEAKER! (AND SOME SAME SAME BUT DIFFERENT OPTIONS..)

It’s like I have been waiting for ages… The new fashion era has finally started… The era of COMFORT! Well TBH I already noticed it has been slowly sneaking in since FW13 but looking at SS14 and even FW14 trends it is clear that fashion is turning in to comfort, and it is here to stay! One of my comfort fave’s must be the return of the slip-on-sneaker. But this time you don’t need to be around skater-boys and skateboards..

So a lot of designer brands have paid attention to a slip on sneaker in their collection..

Checked slip-ons from Stella McCartney..

Yep.. All one by one stunning.. Did I convince you that this is a must-have for your closet, but you don’t want to spend a fortune? Good news! I did my best to spot some very good “inspired by” versions with a super duper affordable price-tag! Like they say.. Same same but different right!?

At H&M I spotted these amaaaaazing sneakers with python print.. Turned out It’s a beautiful cheap version from the ones made by Celine however, these just cost me 150 aed (30€) at H&M

Marks & Spencers made a GIVENCHY Inspired slip-on sneaker that I bought for only 195 aed

To finish of you are perhaps wondering on how to wear these shoes? Basically you can pair them up with almost anything! For guys it could also work with a formal suit, and for girls I even spotted a lot of people wearing them under a skirt or a dress! Guess I won’t waste more of your time.. As it is time to go shopping!
