Our generation has reached to a point that the latest Chanel bag will not really score you an A for originality. Sorry to bring it to you Jumeirah Janes, ya’ll need a bit more creativity than that to get the attention of Billy’s dad at the school play ground.

We are born in a generation that is constantly searching for something new in order to find our identity and claim to have originality. Luckily, I happened to found out that the latest novelty is not a Moschino phone cover or a botoxed lip, but something a bit cheaper and easier accessible than that; BLK water.

Bet now you are asking me “Why the heck would I be part of the “it-crowd” once I got my bottle of BLK?”

First of all, you need to have the balls to drink black water. ( Trust me, that was the hardest task in our office)

Lets face it, when was the last time you drank something black? Or saw someone eat something black since Kim Kardashian’s sex tape?!
Yes, this one is all about trying new stuff!

What so special about BLK?

As it is fortified with Fulvic trace minerals the water has a black hue.

It also has a PH level of 8 ( FYI: Pure water has a PH level of 7. Water with a Ph level less that 7 are said to be acidic and solutions with a PH level greater than 7 are basic or alkaline)

Fulvic acid is rich in minerals and life-giving nutrients which is critical to the growth of all plant and animal life.

Any other benefits?

BLK is claiming to increase energy, antioxidants and rebuilding your immune system. It is also packed with electrolytes which means this is the perfect drink for a hangover :-)

BLK has been spotted on the lips of many celebs such as Victoria secret model Grace Mahary, designers Olivier Rousteing & rick Owens and hot shot blogger Andre Hamann ( Just to name a few)

As Black happened to be the “new black” this might be a quick shortcut to the A-list of Dubai.

Speaking of A-list, I happened to be on the guest list of the official BLK launch party last thursday which took place in the Cove dubai and what a launch it was!

Somewhere in between a performance of Models dressed like black swans and nibbling on black colored canapés I managed to take some quick snaps of the night.

Wanna be part of the BLK movement?

Blk water will be available at Wanna banana, dollhouse dubai or SALT at Kite beach.

Now it is just a waiting game to see the shelf life of this latest must-have, however, you know what they say.. Once you go black you never go back..
